About Us
We started this dealership in 2006 and have not looked back. Allowing us to help you save money, great personal customer service, and help protect the environment is highest goal. It is tough doing the business while working full time jobs but the rewards of people calling back to tell me they can tell the deferance makes it all worth it.
How this all began is I was looking for the best possible oil to use in my truck for pulling our fifth wheel trailer and our new Honda VTX 1300C motorcycle. Searching on the internet, reading reviews and testimonials, talking with other people, and looking at the test data available all pointed to Amsoil. With that decided I began to look in the area for a locale retailer or dealer in the Memphis and North Mississippi area. What I found out was there were a lot of dealers in the area but only a few that were doing anything active in our area (mostly commercial acounts). I then contacted one particular Amsoil dealer who's website stuck out in my mind so much, signed up as a dealer myself. Being able to try the products myself and selling to make a few extra dollars too.
In the future we are also considering adding mobile oil changes to our services, so many people ask if I buy my oil and filter from you will you also change my oil and filter. So far I have done lot of this for free but I believe there is a market in this area for a full time business.
What we run in our own vehicles:
2001 Chevy 2500 HD 6.0L used for daily driving and work, pulling 26 foot 5'th wheel trailer on vacations.
I've seen just over a 3 miles per gallon increase(from 10 to 13 miles to the gallon) around town and 2 miles per gallon on the highway (from 14 to 16 miles per gallon on the highway running empty). Hyghway millage would be better if I would keep my foot out of the pettal. Pulling the trailer I now see an average of 9.5 to 10 miles to the gallon now which is up from about 8.6 on average before AMSOIL products installed (both mileages where done at 65 miles per hour pulling the trailer on various trips). Biggest difference I have noticed while pulling the trailer was the transmission hump in the cab used to get very, very hot, now it just gets a little warm. I wish I had a transmission temperature gauge in the cab, would be interesting to see the temperature difference between the original fluid and the AMSOIL fluid in the transmission.
![]() Yes, even the generator has AMSOIL in it also.
![]() I will be adding a Amsoil BMK13 duel bypass kit in the next few weeks using the largest oil filter and bypass filter from Amsoil. This will increase the oil capacity of my truck from 6 quarts to about 11.5 quarts. This will also keep everything clean and filtered down to 2 microns and help keep the motor running cooler on trips pulling the trailer. Added benefit will be that I will very rarely if ever have to change the oil, only the filters when needed (oil filter once a year and bypass filter every two years) and top off when needed. Truck used to use a quart of conventional oil every 3000 to 4000 miles, now with using AMSOIL I only add about 4 to 6 ounces about every 4000 miles and with almost 130,000 miles on it, that's darn good. I will keep sending samples off to check condition of oil and replace only when needed.
As of June 21, 2007 the BMK13 bypass filter kit has been installed and in working order, tried to get it installed sooner but work, kids, wife and life in general I had to put it off till I had the free time. Needed to order two lengths of 13 feet of hose to complete it in order to mount it just in front of drivers side rear tire. Kit comes with 8 feet which would be plenty for a normal installation. No change in oil pressure noticed and a very convenient spot for showing people the set up. Every time someone comes up to inquire about the filter system I just point and they can see it, no having to pop the hood. In total with all the hose and the two filters (EaO full flow and BP-110 bypass filters) it went from 6 quarts to a total of 11 and a half quarts of oil. Since I was already using 0w-30 TSO I left the previous oil in and just filled the filters during install and topped off till good on the stick.
We made two long trips and one short trip pulling the trailer after installing the by-pass system last summer. One the last weekend of June to New Orleans and another to Dallas the second weekend of August. The short trip was second weekend of July to Nashville, TN. Everything performed great and averaged between 9.5 and 10 miles to the gallon on all of the trips pulling the trailer. The most inpressive thing was comming home from Dallas, TX was the transmission hump in the truck never got hotter then the air out side (104 deg. F. in Dallas and 102 deg. F. for just about the rest of the trip home).
As of April 4, 2008 oil analysis is still showing oil is good and have only changed filters once back during December just before a long planned trip, this also gets me back on to a once a year filter change program which I was on before adding the BMK-13 bypass system. Changed the EaO26 full flow and the BP-110 bypass filter by dropping the old filters, installing pre-filled new filters (using 3.5 quarts 0w-30 SSO since 0w-30 TSO has been discontinued), ran truck for a few minutes, and then topped off to full mark on dip stick. Filter change was very easy to do in this location and having sampling fitting made getting the oil sample easy (sent off 6 ounce oil sample at the same time for oil analysis). This was at 138,000 miles and currently as of writing this it has just over 142000 miles. I will be sending another sample off in June where I will be at 6 months since filter change.
2006 Dodge Stratus 2.4L sedan used for daily driving, back and forth to work, running kids everywhere, and what ever else comes up.
Wendy's car has seen an increase of 2.8 miles to the gallon. From 20.1 average to 22.9 average miles per gallon. In a recent trip during January 2007 to San Antonio, TX her car averaged 28.1 miles to the gallon while still traveling at an average of 80 mph over the trip. It has never done over 25 miles to the gallon on the highway using any other oils.
Update as of April 4, 2008, her car keeps improving in the area of highway millage. On a recent trip to Dallas, TX with cruse control set at 80 miles per hour we recived 31.8 miles to the gallon and most of the other trips have been in the 30 to 31 MPG range, big jump from 25. Oil and filter were changed in December 2007 having reached the one year mark on the oil and just over 22000 miles during that year. Durring the last year we did have to add oil twice to bring oil up to full mark, once in May and once in September but only about 8 ounces each time. So far this year the oil has not budged from the full mark and am hopping to not have to add anything this year. Planning to convert over the power stering latter this summer and add a bypass kit to it in December.
2005 Honda VTX 1300c motorcycle used for back and forth for work when weather permits and fun rides when ever possible.
Have gone from 41 miles per gallon to 44 miles per gallon around town. Highway mileage has gone from 48 to 52 miles to gallon (used to be 54 but I added a very large touring windshield from Slipstream and the extra drag has dropped it a bit).
The bike has changed quite a bit from this picture as I have added a lot to it now. Large touring windshield, handle bar risers, clear turn signals and rear brake lenses, mustang seat, pulled off emblems from sides of tank and added skulls W/flames, saddle bags, and larger rear bag, along with a few other mod's. I'll get a newer picture of it up here soon.
As of April 4, 2008 bike has 7200+ miles on it and did one year oil and filter change on it back in December of 2007. Still getting 44 to 45 miles to the gallon around town and averaging 50 miles to the gallon on the highway. Looking forward to an eventful year of riding and many weekend trips planed for just me and the bike plus as many days as possible riding it to work. Now I just have to figure out how to fit a bypass kit on the bike (just joking).
![]() This is a picture of my old 1976 Kawasaki KZ400D. My first bike and a summer long project. It now belongs to one of my dealers under me in Collierville, TN and has AMSOIL in it too. Sence April of 2007 it was sold to another one of our dealers under me located in Jonsburo, Ar. This now makes 3 dealers it has been in the hands of including myself.
![]() All products listed are from AMSOIL and am proud to say I use them. Our vehicles do run smother and quieter, and have seen a jump in mileage. Best of all we incure even more of a saving by not having to change our oil and filters but once a year. All that adds up to quite a savings.
